Mike is girls director of coaching, doing a great job with NTH Milton growth, 07 DPL coach, and Johns Creek head coach. LOL! He loves his roles and has a great relationship with NTH. There’s not a lot of “sucker punching” going on at NTH, which is one reason why it’s growing. I agree with your sentiment, but you didn't address my question... what happened to his 2004 boys team? And why is Mike only coaching one team next year? NOTE: my question really isn't about Mike at all, but rather the decision makers at NTH.

I assure you that Mike played a very important role in determining his coaching schedule for 2019/2020. Ryan Austin has 04 ECNL and then you have 2 SCCL teams. Park based teams would occur in the Classic levels; depending on numbers. Teams would combine with other locations if numbers require combined parks.

RA will be very helpful over at NASA as well, very very good coach!
MG can build a juggernaut, concorde north had it rolling for sure. Very few know, but years ago, he wanted to succeed from the concorde union, but wasn't the right time.

Are you referring to Jeff Golston? Someone asked me about him today and I have never heard of him. Is he bad? I would like an honest opinion about him for them. Looks like he used to coach white teams and he made the leap to DA? I think JG knows soccer but he is not the most liked coach by the players or parents. JG currently coaches the TH 06 ECNL team. Overall good coach. Doesnt pull punches. He is honest with the girls about where they need to improve. Passionnate about the game. One of the few coaches that require players to watch game film and do self study on their performance during the game for homework between practices...

JG is a good coach if the kids (even more the parents) can take criticism of their performance. He expects that a player perform their best and doesn’t hesitate to call them out, and then reinforce with positivity if they correct the issue. Most of what I saw was feelings hurt and parents complaining about their child being told they weren’t the best player on the field.

I can tell you the parents of the U14 and under are being sold that DPL is under DA and if you play DPL, you will have a better chance to make DA TEAM at some point. " ". The DA clubs created the DPL league because they feared they would lose lots of MONEY without girls/boys ECNL. Why would their ECNL players agree to play at a lower level when they can switch clubs and continue to play ECNL? Not to mention these clubs have been telling everyone how great ECNL is and that not everyone can be on a DA team. "Lots of player revenue to lose"DA Clubs - Insert the DPL League and spread the gospel that the DPL league is the same or better than ECNL; " " Follow the money people! Concorde = 2 ECNL Teams per age U12/U13 & up Concorde = 1 SCCL Team per age U12/U13 & up Concorde = 1 SCCL-P Team per ageU12/U13 & up Concorde = Athena/Classic Teams Multiple NTH = 1 DA Team U12/U13 & up NTH = 1 DPL Team U12/U13 & up (The potential lost money/revenue league)NTH = 1 SCCL Team U12/U13 & up NTH = 1 SCCL-P Team U12/U13 & up NTH = Athena/Classic Teams Multiple Just my 2 cents.... [br How much money do you think a DA, ECNL, SCCL, or DPL team makes for a club? Let’s follow the money...

Does Concorde really not release a list of coaches? This seems very strange. If you want to potentially switch clubs how would you know who to contact about that possibility? And why would anyone go to a team when you don’t have an idea who the coach will be? Doesn’t this limit the number of kids who tryout there?

Concorde will tell anyone who asks who the coaches are for an age group. They just don't publish a list. Maybe I should try again then. I emailed and asked and got a reply saying for General inquiries about sccl email this person but would not identify a specific coach.

If you went to development camp last week or tryouts this week and ask one of the coaches or one of the directors, who are the coaches of this age group, they will tell you. What gender and age group are you looking at?

Any feedback on ‘07 NASA ECNL coach Phil Thomas? Feel free to message any feedback. Thanks Sorry I don’t know much about the coach, he seemed engaged during tryouts, I do expect the NASA 2007 ECNL team to be very good, as it will have half of NASA’s U12 DA roster on that team, including several kids who played on their “A” team last season.

I've read good things about Jack Collison. Surprised Rios is still there though, rather perplexed on that one. You can't sell me on being a top academy in the country when you don't even have some of the top coaches in this city. I don't think you'll get any arguments about the best coaches in the city. Two of the deciding factors are Money & Control. For some of these coaches they would have to give up their side gigs and or side businesses since this would be a full time job that requires you to be there from late in the morning, early afternoon till you're done with training. Secondly, you would have to acquiesce to the AU way of training et.al. Take RD, he loves the freedom he has to implement changes on a dime without having to clear it from above.

Anyone have an opinion on Claudin Dalle Siakam at UFA Norcross? Our girls on his 05 SCCL team love him. He is fair and will chew oit the best player and the worst player equally--if they don't hustle.
The parents love the fairness in that. No favorites from him.
My question: anyone outside the team have any opinion?

Atlanta United Coaching Staff U12 - Mike Lynch & Kevin Sochek(sp) Here is the spelling for Kevin Sawchak. He is a former GA Rush coaching director. Parents and kids liked him, and he’s very knowledgeable.

They especially love his fairness much like you stated...

I like your thinking. A new Coaching Assignments (2020-2021) sticky thread is needed.
