Good luck to them!
Will Inter just put 2nd teams in there and keep their NL spots?
Why was Rush left out?

Ok. How will this work? Will Inter keep their NL? Will they travel to Virginia? I am confused. Plus I guess someone's thought that LSA was in this is wrong. Sounds like it could be a nice thing for these clubs, but I am uncertain what it means overall.

Look at the initial United post and you can see the shark in the e of United. Smartly they backed out of this but who else is left in Georgia soccer at this point ??

So LSA is going to be in a club-based NL league?
Curious why Inter wouldn't do the same.
Here's where we are at the moment: ECNL - AFU, Concorde (x2), GSA, UFA GA - NTH (x2) NPL - AFC, SSA, UFA SCCL - AFU, Ambush, Concorde, GSA, NTH, Roswell, SSA, UFA DPL - NTH CCL (GA) - GA Alliance (Smyrna), GA Storm, Impact, Inter, Triumph SCCL-P - AFU, Ambush, Concorde, GSA, NTH, Roswell, SSA, UFA GA Soccer/NL - Everyone else (Athens, All-In, AFC, BFC, Chiefs, CFC, DDYSC, GA Express, LSA, Legion, MAYS, Mountain United, NSA Belles, Rapids, Rush, UNG, YMCA Arsenal...)

Funny part is that they are posting this as a 5 club league where actually it is 4 clubs because Cherokee and Inter Atlanta are GA Alliance!!

Formerly Smyrna, the club that defected from NTH takeover named themselves the same name as the Inter/Impact/Rush alliance... Its dumb IMO. Pick a better name (Smyrna FC maybe).

At least they got the league naming correct: "CCL’s Premiership, the pinnacle of CCL’s youth development programming, offers the the highest level of competition for both boys and girls, ages 11-19s, at the state, regional and national levels. CCL’s Championship is for ages 11-19s, boys and girls, and is a competitive platform offering both individuals and clubs the opportunity to develop under the same standards as the Premiership." *edit below* And if you are going to have to drive 9 hours to play games(Florida!), the club list looks better up there: clubchampionsleague.com/conferences/ccl/

Who is the sanctioning organization? Is it part of USYS?

Who is the sanctioning organization? Is it part of USYS? I think US Youth Soccer. Looks like they are pretty much an independent league but have an alliance with National League clubchampionsleague.com/about/

These Georgia teams will be traveling to play the Virginia and New England CCL conferences as part of there season? Or is it just isolated to their own conference play and they play the other CCL's in showcases and playoffs? I don't know how you can have a conference with just 5 teams in it...

Based on what I've seen, on the girls side will be:
1 - Inter 2 - Impact 3 - Storm 4 - TYSA 5 - Alliance FC
likely almost across the board. Does Inter join the club-based NL for their first team and then this league for 2nd team? The other clubs in this conference only have 1 team per age group.

What happens to the teams that were NL-Piedmont? Are they now CCL and not NL? I saw something about the National Leagues Alliance that CCL will have, but it doesn't say how that alliance works? Anyone familiar enough tho answer these questions? Asking for a friend!

Anyone familiar enough tho answer these questions? Asking for a friend! Currently, I think it said you can auto-qualify for the NL East region, but that is for up north. Not sure if that auto-qual will be duplicated down here.

I am pretty sure that it is being set up to work as an adjunct league to compliment and enhance Clubs participating at a different country club.Looks to be a pretty interesting and potential options for mid-size clubs and other smaller ones who really do not want to be at a mega club (or a satellite office) but also recognize the challenges of a take it or leave it SCCL slot with limited say and limited mobility as well as the well recognized problems with GA Soccer. My initial understanding is that teams that qualify for NL-Piedmont will definitely be playing in that league. Other teams will also continue in the GA Soccer Classic/Athena tiers. The Clubs in CCL can duel roster so it can allow for the CCL games and clubs to hopefully work with one another so the match-ups are better balanced. Providing more games, less travel for the CCL member clubs combined with the pro/reg of both GA Soccer and NL is not a bad idea. All depends on execution.
