Hold up hold up ... Marist did not make the Roswell goalie sweat. Most goals shot on target, went right to the Roswell goalie! The CBs were asleep for Marist. Wide open shots by Roswell unchecked and then they are up 0-2 ... FINALLY Marist shifted their players around and muted all scoring. Roswell's outside backs only kicked the ball out of play! Nothing technical. Roswell's attacking mid won the game for them PERIOD. Slide tackling, feeding the forwards. Back to Marist's defense ... they had a defender on the bench that is a good player and she never played which allowed Roswell's forwards to eventually run wild. Let's see how Roswell does once a lot of their premium seniors are gone. Goal 1, freshman. Goal 2, sophomore. Fantastic goalie, sophomore. A+ coaching. I think they'll be a team to watch. The midfield (senior) set that all up for the freshman and sophomore and 99% of the balls the goalie stopped came directly to her. The game is won and lost a lot of times in the midfield. |

Yes city of Roswell let Mike F go on April 28. Haven’t noticed the mass exodus of coaches from there? It was not a santos decision but a city one. The city wanted him to implement all this new policies and protocols that they’re making all the other sports do, and he wouldn’t because they don’t make soccer sense. Mike has been at odds with the board for years. several coaches left just before he was let go and I know of at least 1 high quality coach that re-joined the club since Farnham left. I have not heard of any coaches leaving because he's no longer DOC. As far as I know he's at All-in FC. |

What are these new policies and protocols you are referring to? Are the specific to Roswell or are you meaning in youth sports across the state? |
